“My kids come home talking about what Harry Potter house they are in cause they just take the stupid quizzes when on tech at school. We are a low (almost zero) tech home and it bugs me that at school they get to just dink around on chromebooks. My kids spend more time than others because they excel at school and don’t have make up work to do. Why?!? Because they have learned how to learn.
This is at a private Christian school. Not to knock teachers cause there are good ones(my sister is a teacher) but much of it is due to lazy teachers. Even now they just play videos of someone saying letter sounds instead of the teacher doing it to teach reading. I could go on and on.”
